Recruiting Editorial Board Members for the Section “Mechanism and Evolution of Antibiotic Resistance” of Antibiotics

Antibiotics (ISSN 2079-6382 is an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal published online by MDPI, Basel, Switzerland. The scope of Antibiotics includes, but is not limited to: pharmacodynamics, uses of antibiotics, antimicrobial stewardship, antibiotic resistance, and novel antimicrobial agents. We aim to encourage scientists to publish their experimental and theoretical results in as much detail as possible.

The journal has been indexed by the Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE: Web of Science), Scopus, and other databases. Citations are available in PubMed, full text is archived in PubMed Central. Its Impact Factor is 3.893 (2019), ranking 23/93 (Q1) in ‘Infectious Diseases’ and 64/270 (Q1) in ‘Pharmacology & Pharmacy’ in JCR.

The main responsibilities of the Section Editorial Board Members are as follows:

  1. Supervising the quality of the papers in this section (when we have new submissions to the section);
  2. Acting or recommending a Guest Editor for a Special Issue on a topic related to your research interests;
  3. Providing any conferences/society cooperation recommendation.

This position is open to experts on all aspects of the mechanism and evolution of antibiotic resistance.
