Webinar Description

Join CIDRAP-ASP for a webinar discussing the importance of surveillance for qualifying and quantifying antimicrobial resistance (AMR), and learn about the challenges of conducting surveillance in low and middle-income settings.

We will also discuss how improving utilization of current diagnostic and surveillance methods can inform local, regional, and global policy, and how new technologies will enable improved adoption and tracking.

Our expert presenters are:

  • Elvira Garza González, PhD, Faculty of Medicine, Autonomous University of Nuevo León
  • Carlos Arturo Álvarez Moreno, MD, PhD, Infectious Diseases Specialist, National University of Colombia

Time for Q&A will follow the presentation. Continuing education credit for physicians and pharmacists (ACCME and ACPE) provided.
