Une grande partie de nos recherches est consacrée à la caractérisation d'enzymes essentielles à la physiologie mycobactérienne, notamment celle de Mycobacterium tuberculosis, qui représentent des cibles potentielles pour le développement de nouveaux médicaments. Nous avons récemment entrepris la caractérisation d'une nouvelle famille de toxines liées à l'aérolysine provenant de l'hôte invertébré Biomphalaria glabrata et de son parasite Schistosoma manosini. |
