To mark its fifth anniversary, the Priority Research Program (PRP) on Antibiotic Resistance is organizing a scientific symposium. The event will take place on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, in the amphitheater of the PariSanté Campus in Paris’s 15th arrondissement.

The aim of this symposium is to bring together all the program’s stakeholders and researchers involved in the fight against antibiotic resistance using a One Health approach. The day will provide an opportunity to review the progress made in the many research projects funded by the PRP Antibiotic Resistance and the ANR, as well as to strengthen dialogue between researchers and public authorities. Please note that the symposium will be held in French.

Program

The symposium program includes:

  • Presentations and round tables on the progress of the 14 projects funded by the PRP Antibiotic Resistance
  • Discussions on the 9 chairs of the PRP Antibiotic Resistance
  • Review of projects funded by the ANR
  • Discussions with representatives from various ministries on the “One Health” approach to tackle antibiotic resistance
  • Discussions on antibiotic resistance at the international level with the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, and presentation of the AMR-Sud network projects funded by the PRP Antibiotic Resistance
  • Presentations by the Industry Committee and the Biocluster for Innovation in Infectious Diseases on the private sector’s vision of antibiotic resistance
