{"id":25213,"date":"2022-06-15T10:12:37","date_gmt":"2022-06-15T09:12:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ppr-antibioresistance.inserm.fr\/?p=25213"},"modified":"2025-02-26T15:16:22","modified_gmt":"2025-02-26T14:16:22","slug":"editorial-par-isabelle-tongio","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ppr-antibioresistance.inserm.fr\/fr\/edito\/editorial-par-isabelle-tongio\/","title":{"rendered":"Editorial par Isabelle TONGIO"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>L\u2019\u00e9mergence et le d\u00e9veloppement de l\u2019antibior\u00e9sistance est principalement li\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019utilisation inappropri\u00e9e des antibiotiques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les syst\u00e8mes et tests de diagnostic&nbsp;<em>in vitro<\/em>&nbsp;parce qu\u2019ils d\u00e9tectent et identifient les agents pathog\u00e8nes et en \u00e9valuent la sensibilit\u00e9 \u00e0 certains antibiotiques, permettent de mettre en place un traitement sp\u00e9cifique adapt\u00e9&nbsp;: ils jouent ainsi un r\u00f4le essentiel dans la lutte contre l\u2019antibior\u00e9sistance. En outre, ces tests permettent de suivre l\u2019\u00e9volution de la r\u00e9sistance dans le temps. Ils offrent ainsi aux professionnels de sant\u00e9 la possibilit\u00e9 de prendre des d\u00e9cisions th\u00e9rapeutiques \u00e9tay\u00e9es scientifiquement tout au long de la strat\u00e9gie d\u2019antibioth\u00e9rapie&nbsp;:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>lors de l\u2019initiation du traitement, en limitant le recours aux antibiotiques \u00e0 large spectre\u00a0;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>lors de l\u2019adaptation du traitement sur la base des r\u00e9sultats de microbiologie\u00a0;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>quant \u00e0 la personnalisation et la dur\u00e9e et du traitement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Placer le diagnostic au c\u0153ur des programmes de bon usage des antibiotiques contribue \u00e0 garantir aux patients le b\u00e9n\u00e9fice d\u2019un traitement antibiotique le plus adapt\u00e9, \u00e0 r\u00e9duire les effets secondaires, \u00e0 limiter les co\u00fbts de l\u2019errance th\u00e9rapeutique ou des antibioth\u00e9rapies inutiles, et \u00e0 limiter l\u2019\u00e9mergence de r\u00e9sistances. Enfin, la consolidation des r\u00e9sultats d\u2019antibiogrammes permet, au niveau local, national, ou international, une surveillance active des r\u00e9sistances pour une meilleure adaptation des strat\u00e9gies antibiotiques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les entreprises du diagnostic&nbsp;<em>in vitro<\/em>&nbsp;sont de plus en plus engag\u00e9es pour fournir aux professionnels de sant\u00e9, partout dans le monde, des produits et des services de lutte contre l\u2019antibior\u00e9sistance. Elles placent l\u2019innovation au c\u0153ur de leur strat\u00e9gie en proposant des tests dont les r\u00e9sultats sont toujours plus rapides, fiables et pr\u00e9cis. Elles accroissent \u00e9galement leur contribution aux efforts de formation des professionnels de sant\u00e9 et de sensibilisation de la population \u00e0 cet enjeux majeur de sant\u00e9 publique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La r\u00e9sistance aux antibiotiques est en constante augmentation. Pr\u00e9server l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 des antibiotiques et leur b\u00e9n\u00e9fice pour la sant\u00e9 n\u2019est plus une option.
