Au cours des derni\u00e8res d\u00e9cennies, la multir\u00e9sistance croissante aux antibiotiques du bacille de Koch, ou\u00a0<em><strong>Mycobacterium tuberculosis<\/strong>,<\/em>\u00a0a conduit l\u2019OMS \u00e0 faire de la tuberculose une urgence sanitaire plan\u00e9taire. L\u2019\u00e9quipe du\u00a0<strong>Dr Ruben Hartkoorn<\/strong>\u00a0du Centre d\u2019Infection et d\u2019Immunit\u00e9 de Lille (Inserm U1019-CNRS UMR9017-Univ Lille) en collaboration \u00e9troite avec celle du\u00a0<strong>Pr Nicolas Willand<\/strong>\u00a0et du\u00a0<strong>Dr Baptiste Villemagne<\/strong>\u00a0(Inserm U1177, Univ. Lille) ont entrepris, dans ce contexte, de proposer de nouvelles alternatives th\u00e9rapeutiques. Leur strat\u00e9gie a d\u00e9marr\u00e9 par le criblage ph\u00e9notypique \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle, d\u2019une banque de mol\u00e9cules originales et con\u00e7ues pour mimer les mol\u00e9cules naturelles. La s\u00e9lection de touches, suivie de l\u2019optimisation d\u2019une famille chimique appel\u00e9e TriSLa a permis d\u2019identifier de puissants compos\u00e9s antituberculeux. Cette famille de mol\u00e9cules cible une enzyme bact\u00e9rienne impliqu\u00e9e dans la chaine respiratoire et encore peu \u00e9tudi\u00e9e. En collaboration avec l\u2019\u00e9quipe du\u00a0<em>Dr Laurent Kremer<\/em>\u00a0(UMR 9004 Universit\u00e9 de Montpellier), l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 de cette nouvelle famille d\u2019antibiotiques a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9montr\u00e9e dans un mod\u00e8le pr\u00e9clinique de tuberculose utilisant des poissons z\u00e8bre infect\u00e9s.
